One proud mama !!

Jessie got on TV tonight ! Well, not Jessie but the picture that he drew and his name and stuff !! Davin asked him if he was changing his career move to artist , and he said that he was still going to be a football star , all the power to him. Anything is possible. We're all very proud of him , and he's proud of himself. I guess the whole school participated and his picture got chosen. That's what he told me. I'll call the school tomorrow to find out more.

Besides that , our Godson Mitchel was baptised yesterday and it was a great day. He looked so darn cute and he didn't even say a word ! Such a great boy. We're so happy ! Now, we just have to wait for our little bundle of joy to arrive. We're almost there. We went to the doctors today and she was so active that it took him a bit to find her ...lol..Now, we go every week. It feels great, it means that we're on the last stretch !

The floor for the living/dining room was delivered today so it can climates to the house. They'll be on thursday and then next week, the carpet upstairs is getting done. Then we finally get to set up all the rooms !!

I had my baby shower last weekend and it was the greatest. I had so much fun and the girls did great planning it. Of course their was alot of food, people, games and PRESENTS !!! She got pretty much everything she will ever need ! I haven't been able to set up the room yet , since we're getting new flooring put in next week. But , I'll be taking pictures ! It took Jessie and Davin about 15 minutes to bring everything in . Now, I have to get on the Thank you cards...

On a sad note , my best friend from back home , Mélanie lost her husband last week. He was only 35. He was helping someone change a tire on the side of the road and the worst thing that could happen , happened... I've been thinking alot lately ... I believe in God, but sometimes, he just ain't fair. We're planning on going up in February, and I'm going to make sure that we make it there.

This weekend is also a pretty busy one. Well, not really , our Godson Mitchel is getting baptize on Sunday. So, now I'm off to go buy him a present. I'm just posting a few pictures of the baby shower. I'll have more this weekend. We bought a couple disposable camera and we should have the pics this weekend !

And I lost one today in a freak accident... I'll talk about it some other day, don't feel like it right now ... I will cherish everyday that I have , cause you never know what can happen ... Rest in Peace Billy. I'm thinking of you Mélanie, Sam , Scott & Niko .. Je vous aimes !!!!!

But I can't .. She moves too much , the past 3 nights I've been up at 4am , walking around the house .Thank God there's only a couple of weeks left, then I won't have a little one kicking the crap out of me when I'm trying to sleep !

The baby shower is on Sunday and I'm really excited . I didn't have one with Jessie, so this is all fun for me !! I can't wait ! The bedroom is painted and we're almost all ready to go ! We're just waiting for the floor to be installed and that's another story !

We took Jessie to the dentist and he's going to start wearing a retainer within the next couple of weeks. I thought that he was going to be upset about it, but no problem at all. I guess they can put a sport logo on them, so he's going with the football team. We're going back on the 8th of november for an appointment and then we'll know where we're going from that.

That's about it ! Just waiting patiently ! I'm posting a few pictures of last weekend. I went out for lunch with the girls and we had a great time !

Almost there...lol

Well, the time is almost here for us to meet the little one and we're all getting pretty excited !! The only one that I think is not going to be happy is Brutus. See, the dog has really bad attachement issus towards me. He goes everywhere with me, Davin likes to call him my 3rd leg. He's right. But we're together all day long when the boys are gone , so it's just normal...lol..

The baby shower is going to be on the 21st of October , I can't wait. I didn't have a baby shower when I had Jessie. It's going to be a great time. We got a hall in Chatham and a whole bunch of people are coming, probably lots that I don't know...lol.. That's when the name tags become handy.

Zoé's room is painted and I'll post some pictures when the new floors are in , wich we are going to pick out tonight ! I can't wait ! In the meantime, I'm posting a picture of Jessie and Brutus. Have a good one !
