Carrie had her baby !! Sean was born Thursday September 28Th 2006 at 7:55pm. He weight 7lbs 5once and measured 20 inches !!! He is so cute ! We went to see them last night at the hospital and Carrie is doing really well. Sean is healthy and he has all his toes !!! Enjoy the pics !!!
When I was about 12 years old , my dad bought a telescope. Since Jessie is really interested in that and we have a really clear view at night by the beach , me dad send it to him ! Jessie was pretty excited. We just got done putting it together , so I guess that tonight , we will be looking at stars ! It's really neat. I can't believe that my dad still had the original box and everything for it. It looks brand new.
Today was also my 1st day of work. We've been training for a couple of days , but today was our Grand Opening. We were pretty steady , so that's a good thing. My boss's are really nice and easy to get along with. That makes the day go by much faster. This week, they're there to open with me , but has of next Monday, I will be opening all by myself ! That should be an experience. I actually made some tips. . Not like I used to makes at Andy's , but for a coffee shop, it wasn't bad. Tonight will be relaxing night. Not used to working anymore ! ...lol
Well, tomorrow is the big opening day. I have to be there for 6:15 am , so that should be fun ! I haven't gotten up that early in a long time. But I better get use to it, cause those are my hours and I will only be working that shift. I went in today to do some more set up and practice. Did u know that the milk for a Cappuccino or a Latte has to be at least 155 degrees? Be careful next time you drink one ! Some of the milk splash on my hand today and it wasn't a good feeling...lol... Well, we're off to Windsor to go to my favorite store ! Old Navy that is, I need some work shirts ! Later
I just went for a walk this morning on the beach. It's so beautiful out right now, they say that it's supposed to go up to 73 today. I won't be able to enjoy it much, I have to go to the Cafe to help set up the place. I have to open on Thursday and it's the Grand Opening and I want to make sure that I know what I'm doing. When I worked at Andy's it was 100 seats and now it's 20 seats. So, I think that I will be able to handle it ! I can't wait for Friday, Mom is taking Jessie for the night and Davin and I get to hang out. I think that we'll be going to the Casino in Windsor. I've never been and I heard that it's really nice. Jessie wants a "paycheck" , that's what he calls it , so there he is doing dishes... He's really good at it ! I would like to have a "paycheck" for doing the rest of the house work , but I guess that it don't work that way . Does it ?!? lol
Well, yesterday was my 1st day of work and I had a good time ! My boss's are really nice , they're Italian wich means that when they speak , they are loud ! We had our training and our get to know each other luchenon. It was nice. The cappucino machine kinda of scared me a little at first, but I did just fine. I'll tell you one thing, I have no idea how people can drink Expresso's. I really don't enjoy it that much ... I tried it, but I think that I'm going to stick with the regular stuff. lol. It's a Italian place, so all the cakes and such are Italian, wich is really good !! we got to try a whole bunch of stuff that we're going to make. I actually will be making most of the sandwich's since I'm the regular day shift. That's right, finally for once in my life, I only work during the day ! That makes my life so much more easier and Jessie's also. I get to be home at night and cook him dinner and hang out with him. He's happy about that. So, tomorrow we have some more training, tuesday we're cleaning the place up and thursday is opening day ! Since I get to open the place, I have to be there at 6:30 ...I'll have to get used to that !
The rest of the weekend was quiet. Davin worked yesterday also, overtime , so Colette came down to watch Jessie. Thanks Colette !! Some of Davin's friend came over , Colette and I watch some tv with Jessie , that's about it. Today , Colette and Davin went to the Football game and the Lion's lost ! What else is new ?!? Mom spend the day with Jessie and I and we had a good time ! There's some pics of Mom and Jessie with the cat , Dolly. Later !
I had a nice visit yesterday with Tonya, Bobby Jo and Ma. It was really nice to see some familiar faces. I really miss my girls from work. We always had such a good time there , that time used to fly by . I loved it, I'm not sure that when I start working at the Cafe this week it's going to be the same... It's never the same.
I've been playing with my Blog, trying to find some fun stuff to look at. I just put up a video wich is one of my favorite song. This summer Davin, Me , Tonya and Jeff went to Ozzfest and we had the chance to see Black Label Society. For those you aren't familiar with them, they are one of the best heavy metal band out there. The song is dedicated to Dimebag. Dimebag was one of the co-founders of the band Pantera and he got shot a couple of years ago when he was on tour with his new band.

Jessie was playing outside last night and our neighbour Annette and him had a game of horse shoe. Besides that , Tonya, BobbyJo and Ma are coming over later today . I'm really excited, I haven't seen them in about 3 weeks, so it's a good day for Julie ! Later
Well, I didn't get the job at Green Shield. The lady just called me and said that they had canceled the current opening. I'm not sure why, she didn't say. She said that they would keep my name on file and if anything is to come up , she would call me. I'm a little upset cause I wanted it really bad and I went trough 2 hours of interview and a stupid aptitude test to get there. Not much I can do now... At least I start the Cafe on saturday, thank God I said yes to her when she called me last weekend. So, I'll be working there for now and waiting for something else better to come along.
It's freezing here, I mean really cold! Looks like their's a tornado on the lake since it's so windy. Jessie ask me to put some extra weight in his back pack to make sure that he wasn't going to fly away...lol What a kid, I swear sometimes he talks so much that if he wasn't going to talk for the next month I would be OK with it. I mean it's good that he can express himself really well, but OMG, quit talking for a minute !! I'm about to start paying for silence !
Not much else going on around here. Mom and Mark came over last night, all tan ... Lucky, the got Jessie a shark tooth , it's really cool looking , Davin and I got an apron , a shirt from New Orleans and a oven mitain in the shape of an alligator. Mom was telling me that New Orleans is still pretty bad. It's really sad I guess, she said that it still looks like we saw on TV a year ago. The only place that's really up and running is the french quaters. That's too bad... On that note, have a good day everyone !
Finally , we have a nice day here. Since we lived by the beach, I can count on one hand how many sunny days that we have had. It doesn't really matter today though, Jessie is a school and Davin will be sleeping since he's on midnights. At least, I get to hang my laundry outside without having to worry about the rain.
I went to Jessie's school last night , they had a meet and greet for the parents and I must say that I like this school better then the other one. His teacher had nothing but good things to say about him. She said that he was shy , My Jessie ? No way ...lol.. Anyone that knows him , knows what I'm talking about.

It looks like it's going to rain again today... Going to be a quiet Monday. Jessie is off to school and Davin worked midnight last night, so he will be sleeping today. Has for me , I will be waiting patiently by the phone until Green Shield calls and tells me the outcome of the interview. I still have my fingers cross ! I do have a job at the moment. I went and dropped off a resume a couple of weeks ago to the Cafe that is opening on the main street and I got it. So , I took it in case I don't get the other one. I need to get out of the house and make some money $$$ !! Davin and I are planning to go to Vegas in November sometimes. Since we have never been away together. Well, if you count Detroit for a day to go to a concert, but I don't. If we do go, wich we will I'll make it happen, I will be getting a new tattoo. I just don't know what it's going to be , yet !

I'm waiting for the furniture to get here, between 2-5 and obviously it's not here yet. Probably not until 5, knowing our luck. Davin went to get the big screen tv and bring their couch back. I was bored and I decided to take some pictures with my webcam..

So, I went to the interview this afternoon and I think that everything went well. Actually, I'm not too sure, it's hard to say. I had another interview with what could me my supervisor and my trainer and also the human resources manager of Green Shield. They ask me soo many questions that I can't remember any of them...lol .. I also had to do the aptitude test and let me tell you, they are so stupid !!! Anyways, the HR manager said that she would be calling me in the beginning of next week. It's going to be a long weekend ! Have a good one everyone !
Well, today is the day... I'm a little stressed out about this whole interview thing. Thought about it all night. I was up at 5:30 am ,before Davin had to get up for work , I woke him up.. He didn't enjoy that much ! Oh well, I needed someone to talk to ...lol.. The only thing that I hate about this interview is that it's on a Friday afternoon, it's not open on weekends which means that I won't be getting any news until Monday afternoon or Tuesday... That kinda of sucks, that means another weekend of wondering...
The furniture is coming tomorrow ! Finally, after a 2 weeks delay. Well, not all of it , our bedroom suite won't be here until the end of the month. They said that we could pick a different one if we wanted for the same price, but we choose that one cause we liked it . So, we'll just be patient and wait.. We're used to that anyways.
Jessie is convinced that he's going to be a NFL player. Davin and him play every night on the beach. Trowing the ball back and forth , watching the games. I have to wash his football jersey pretty much everyday. He wore it today to school, Eagles jersey , Eagles hat , the whole works... Next week, it's going to be a new career. Wait until Basketball starts...lol...
Just to end the suspence .... I got the second interview at Green Shield !!!! Tomorrow at 2pm !!! Please , cross your fingers for me !
Still no phone call from Green Shield... She said at the interview that she was going to have everything wrapped up by the end of the week. Well, the end of the week is almost here and I'm WAITING !! Sitting by the phone like an idiot and every time it rings I jump and look at the call display right the way..
Jessie and I were watching TV last night and they were showing footage of the shooting at the College in Montreal. Jessie said that he doesn't understand why people buy guns and why people kill each other. He said that if he was Prime Minister, no more guns. Guns are stupid ! I told him that it would be nice if it was that easy ... the worst is that the guy was only 25 , dressed up like the columbine kids. What the hell is the world coming to ? What could bring you to go into a school and shot people that you don't even know. It's a college, in Quebec you go to College when you're 16... they said on the news that the people injured were between 16-18..crazy...
On a happier note, Lukas won Rockstar.. I was really happy , I jumped up in the living room and Davin told me to settle down.. He ain't any better then I, he actually wakes up in the middle of the night to checked the scores for his dear Tigers.... he has issues !!!

I have no patience. I can't stand this whole waiting for the phone call thing. I'm on edge, I'm bitchy and I need to find something to do. I think that I'm driving the boys crazy. I have never not had a job, always worked. My 1st job was when I was 12 and I was doing dishes in a Chinese restaurant, by hand , no dishwasher and it was buffet only and their wasn't any other Chinese restaurant in town. Alot of dishes !! Now, I've been off work since august 24th and I can't deal with it ! Even after I had Jessie, I went back to work and he was 4 months old. I've worked ever since ! I'm about ready to take any kind of job. I didn't want to go back to waitressing, cause I've done it for a while and I wanted to move on, but looks like I'm going to have to apply at some restaurants here in town. It's a small town, not many places to go.
We called Leon's last night and they said saturday for all the furniture , but we have to call back today to make sure ! Bet you that today, another story , since it's another day. My camera should be here on the 20th, can't wait..
It's seems that's all I do lately is wait, wait for a call, wait for furniture, wait for a camera....Sick of waiting !
So, I finally got my high-speed ! After almost 2 weeks, I can finally surf the internet at a great speed ! I had my interview yesterday and I think that it went well. I was there for an hour, they ask you a series of question and it seemed like it was never going to end. If I pass the 1st interview I get to go for a 2ND one and a aptitude test. Have you ever done those ? They suck big time. Theirs not much to them , it's just really a bunch of useless question and they really only want to see if you can follow instructions. She said that she should be calling me by Wednesday and to tell me either way the outcome of the interview.
Davin finally caved in and bought me my digital camera ! I've been bogging him for the past year . Well , at least since last september. So yesterday we went online and we bought it from Dell. That's where I got my computer and they had some good deals on their camera. So , I got me a Sony , it should be here sometimes next week. Then I'll be able to post some recent pictures !! Can't wait..
Jessie is off to school and I have a nice day of relaxing ahead. It's raining outside, so no yard work for me today, hopefully later, the sun will come out.

Today is the day of my interview and I didn't sleep well last night at all. I kept thinking about what kind of questions that they would be asking me. It's not my 1st interview, but let's just say that it's a really important one for me. If I get this job , I am set for life. They pay really good money, I mean REALLY good ! No more worries at all...
Davin went to his football game yesterday and guess what ? The Lions lost. That was a given ! If I would've told him that , he would've been upset. Since I don't know anything about football, I'll just keep my mouth shut ! Jessie's team won, the Eagles . He was happy about it. Jessie has an obsession with anything that has to do with Philadelphia , no clue why. All they talk about is sports !!! It's driving me nuts !! What I'm I going to do when basketball starts !???
Well, I'm off to get ready ! We have to go get me a new dress shirt ! Gotta look nice. Here I go again, I will try to post the picture right this time. That's a pic of Jessie taken earlier this summer when he got his Eagles jersey. He had just woken up from a nap that he was taking on her way home from Grand Band ! Later !
Well, we got the front flower beds done. Their's actually nothing left in them. When Davin and I started to clean the plants that were there, we decided to take everything out. They were pretty much all dead and no one really took care of them before, so it was pretty bad. We bought some dirt and now it's ready to go. We also bought some tulips bulbs , but Jessie and I are going to do this tomorrow. Davin is going to the Lions/ Seahawks game tomorrow in Detroit. He has season tickets , so he pretty much has 2 games a month for the next couple of months.
We were supposed to get the kitchen table and Leon's called and said that they would bring everything out next week. I knew it!! Bet you that next week, it's going to be something else... Bull s*** !!! No DSL internet for me either. Bell Canada has to come out and fix the line , so I'm still using Dial-Up ... My patience is running out ....
On a better note, I got a job interview Monday afternoon at Green Shield Canada. I send them about 5 resumes this week, so they had to call me so I would stop emailing them !!!! She sounded really nice on the phone. She first ask me to go on Tuesday and then she called back about 10 minutes later and ask me to come on monday .I guess that it's a good sign !!!
Well, I guess that we're going to watch some movies now, according to my boys ! Tonight is Taco night !! Have a good night everyone !!

Jessie is finally on the bus, no more 25 minutes bike rides in the morning. He was pretty happy about it. They pick him up and drop him off right in front of the house.
That's pretty much it for today, life is pretty simple right now ! We have a busy weekend ahead, yard work, window cleaning, that kinda of fun stuff !! Have a good weekend everyone !
One more day of this dial-up and then it's all done ! It's so slow , you can't do anything ! I tried to upload pictures for my blog and it's so slow that I gave up. I can't wait until tomorrow. I don't understand how people can use it . Their is no way I would go back to it, even if they paid me for it!
Did u guys watch Rockstar last night ? I liked Storm , but I did prefer Ryan , but they send it home last week , I still don't understand why. I thought for sure that Dilana was going to win this , but now I have my doubts .... I think that all the backstabbing that happened last week didn't help . Has for Lukas, well, I think that he has issues. Magni is too nice to be a rocker and Toby looks like a Tommy Lee in the works. Know what I mean ??!!! I think that he might be the winner , I guess that we'll know next week !
Our kitchen table is coming on Saturday , but the rest of the furniture won't be here for another 2 weeks. That's what they told us last night, but I bet that in 2 weeks it's going to be another story .

Jessie had his 1st day at the new school yesterday and he had a great time. He said that he made 13 friends . He also has a new best friend, I don't know how you can make a new best friend in a day , but I guess for kids , it's that easy !! We only have 1 problem to solve and that's the school bus. Has of now, I'm biking with Jessie to school because they don't have him in the system yet. It really sucks cause there is a really busy highway that we have to cross and it takes forever .... I just got off the phone with the bus company and they said that it won't be settle until at least Friday .... The worst part is that he school bus picks up kids 5 houses down from ours !
Davin really likes his new drive. When we were in Chatham he had to drive 1 hour and 15 minutes to work , now he only has to drive 30 minutes ,it's great ! Cheaper on gas !
Well, I'm off to do my gardening and some more cleaning ! Even if I ain't working , I'm more busy then when I was !! Good day everyone !!
Hi, so we're all moved , but it was a pain in the butt to get here . Moving the furniture wasn't bad, getting the place set up was great, but dealing with Leon's and Bell , that's another story ... We were supposed to have the phone connected on friday and then of course, Bell messed up some how and the phone wasn't connected until saturday night. Then our DSL internet was supposed to be connected today and like I said before , it takes a couple of days to get it going, so now, I get to use Dial-Up until friday. I remember why I haven't use dial-up in a couple years , it's SLOW !!!!
We have no furniture ! Leon's said that our stuff was in back order , but they told us last week that everything was fine ! So , I guess that we're supposed to get our kitchen set and living room set on saturday , but our bedroom suite won't come in until the 22nd of september. So, Davin went to get the couch at his parents house that he had in the basement, Thank God. At least , we have somewhere to sit ...lol..
Today was also Jessie's 1st day of school. I don't think that he was too happy about it . I'm sure that he will be fine and that we'll hear some stories tonight, but this morning when I dropped him off, he wasn't smilling ... Poor kid, new school , new house, I feel really bad for him .
